Worth the Long Trip!

Today was trickier than most in that we had to travel farther and through windy conditions to get to the whales, but once we did we had excellent viewings of transient orcas, humpbacks, and a lone gray whale. One group of transient orcas were found near Whidbey Island (USA), while the other group was in the middle of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Race Rocks provided a great end to the trips as we were able to view the loud and enormous Steller and California Sea Lions.
