Great day! What a great day on the water! It was chillier than expected up on top, but that is where the viewing is best! We saw multiple Humpbacks and also a pod of Orcas, plus seals, sea lions, bald eagles, etc... Craig was wonderful, but ask him questions so he shares all that he knows. The captain, Ian, did a great job of letting both sides of the boat have great views. My only complaint was that rude tourists kept standing up and blocking the view. My suggestion: Give them one warning, then throw them overboard! Remember to tip your crew. They live on your generosity! Couldn’t be more satisfied!

FANTASTIC!!! I'd wanted to see whales in Vancouver for years the tour on Sunday with Wilma on board was absolutely superb. The naturalists were really knowledgeable and shared lots of information.
Definitely do this tour if you're in Vancouver!

Best Day of a Great Vacation! Loved this day trip! Even though the weather was kind of...well Pacific Northwest-y, the boat is super comfortable and stable. 4 hours of whale watching (and other wild creatures), 3 1/2 hours to do what we pleased on Victoria, (we did a bucket list tea at the Empress, but I wish we had used our time more wisely so we could have spent more time touring the included Beauchart Garden - it is truly breathtaking), and then a 2 ½ hour ride back to Vancouver (during which we stopped for even BETTER whale sightings). Our naturalists were Mar and James (along with Captain and 1st mate whose names I didn’t note), and they were so fun and knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to see both Humpbacks and Orcas. You could tell how happy the crew was to see their passengers excitement when we spotted the whales. These folks are professionals and they do not take these sightings for granted. I am not gonna lie, it’s hard not to get choked up when you see them irl swimming freely. Best vacation $$$ I could have spent. 17-year-old daughter had this vacay at a 7, (including hiking Renier and doing Whistler/Blackcomb), but she said this experience, with the comfort of the boat, the crew and of course the awe-inspiring whales, bumped it to a solid 10!

Brilliant afternoon with knowledgable crew We took the boat from Granville Island, we sat upstairs and although it was a fast and sometime bumpy ride it was great. We were lucky with the weather, sunny although a bit cold at time. We travelled for over an hour and a half before we saw any sign of a whale but then they appeared and we spent the next hour watching them. Particularly special was the mum and her calf who surfaced close to us. on the way back we passed close to some small islands and saw a variety of wildlife, bald eagles, a variety of seals and sea otters. The crew were brilliant, showing us maps of where we were going and photos of the various types of whales we may see

Great Experience! We saw four orcas, five bald eagles, and countless seals and sealions. Along the way, we learned a lot, both about the animals and about the area from Wilma, who went out of her way to learn about each of us. Highly recommended!

Mother’s Day gift The crew was great. Lilli was on the upper deck and she was amazing.

They provided hats, gloves and blankets. So appreciated so we could be on the upper deck.

    Just an amazing day.

Superb we saw Whales and had a great time This was a great trip we were a little hesitant at first as we were not sure if we would see them. The staff love the Whales and this is clear from the way they talk and what they do and so as well as being amazing seeing the Whales it was lovely to hear all the stories. We saw 2 Humpback Whales breaching and watched them for nearly an hour. It is unusual to see Orcas on this trip some-one said around 10% but to be honest it was magical seeing the humpback. If you go there thinking they will perform and be visible at all times you will be disappointed. If you however, want to see Whales in their surroundings going by their business and learn about them - I would highly recommend this trip we LOVED IT

Loved it! This was a great way to see the city and get a bit of an adrenaline rush at the same time. Our guide did a great job explaining some history as well present day realities of the city of Vancouver, plus he was a great driver. It was a beautiful day and we had a blast speeding around on the zodiac. This is our first time to Vancouver so it was a perfect orientation. The next day we rode bikes around Stanley Park so it was really cool to see the sights from both the water side and the land side.

Best day out! I can’t rate the crew of Prince of whales more highly. I had such a fantastic day out that I booked to go out again for a second time two weeks later. The first time we seen plenty of humpback whales but Aaron still wanted to take us all to look for other whales/seals which was appreciated. The second time the water was quite rough but once again Aaron sailed us to where we needed to be safely. The crew has plenty of knowledge on the area and the wildlife. Wilma pointed out plenty of things which were very interesting. I can’t thank the crew enough for such an amazing day out both times, the trip is great value for money and I’ll definitely like to book again if I visit Vancouver again.
