Just wanted to extend our most heartfelt congratulations and thanks on a job well done with the big incentive you helped us host this year. It was a great privilege and pleasure to work with your entire staff.

We've had an amazing experience and it's been an astonishing whale watching trip. Marek, our zodiac skipper, has been so kind and friendly and he shared with us his passion for biology and wild sea life which has been a great and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

We went on the North Bound Adventure Crossing on August 9th and it was a very special day. The water was flat calm and we saw whales galore. The guides and skipper were exceptionally helpful and so knowledgable and enthusiastic. It was a special day and one that we will not forget.
We expected the last stage of the journey from the gardens to Vancouver to be whale free but not a bit of it. We probably saw more whales in this part. As good as it get were the way the crew described it at the end and we knew we were very lucky. Thank you

Unique experience which justifies the cost. Did the zodiac tour, highly recommended. Good organisation with competent and friendly staf. We have been very lucky to see transit killer whales at very close distance onan amazing sunny day. Can not ask for more! A must-do trip if you are in BC

We went on the zodiac boat 3 hour excursion. Rush was out guide and he was fabulous. It is amazing how quickly he found the whales. We saw many orcas, a humpback, harbor seals and 2 different kinds of sea lions. As a bonus, as we were ending the tour and almost to the harbour, the Snowbirds had their airshow going on. Rush was kind enough to stop so we could enjoy the show happening right above us. It is apparent that Rush loves his job, educating and entertaining!!

We did not use Prince of Whales for whale watching but instead took the option they offer to tour Butchart Gardens and take their high speed boat from the dock at the Gardens to downtown Vancouver. We found this to be a very pleasant option. There is a bus that takes you from the front of the Empress Hotel in Victoria to Butchart Gardens, where you can check your luggage, tour the Garden and catch the boat between 5 and 5:30 pm. This allow you to start at a reasonable hour, still have plenty of time to tour the Garden, enjoy a two hour crossing to Vancouver and be delivered right in downtown Vancouver near the Westin hotel rather than a good ways out of town where the larger ferries dock. It is passenger service only and the boat holds only about 20 - 30 people so you need to be comfortable with that size vessel but we found it to be a fun and fast option. Butchart Gardens, reviewed separately are fabulous and definitely worth a visit.

We should've reviewed this 2 years ago but I could not recommend this enough. We had an amazing day's experience watching a pod of orcas ( definitely performing for the crowd!) The pilots were discreet, respectful and the impetus was always about observing the whales in a safe and unobtrusive way. We saw calfs breaching, which without anthropomorphism, was definitely to see us as much as them! The guides also took time to show us other examples of beautiful Canadian wildlife. As near as a perfect afternoon as you could get -- even without the orcas!

Our trip out today was absolutely amazing!!! We saw quite a few whales and it was a memorable experience!!! Jen was very knowledgeable and shared great information with us!!! I'd totally do it again!!!

This weekend I had the pleasure of going out on the Ocean Magic II for some whale watching. It was an amazing experience. The operators of the boat were knowledgable, professional and a lot of fun. They made the experience into a day out with friends. We got to see some humpback whales, seals, and sea lions. It was an unforgettable day with some amazing people. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. I hear rumours that the trip that left after mine got to see some Orcas. I'd love to go back and snag a sighting of them.
