The day began, and ended with patches of fog. The whales sure didn’t care though! Our boats were treated to some excellent sightings of humpbacks, who preformed an unlikely maneuver–best described by our First Mate, Jen as a “cartwheel!” Resident killer whales pods were met heading west and there were reports of transients making their way down from East Point. What did we learn? A little fog never hurt anyone–or the whale sightings!
