An experience beyond imagination. Exceeded excellence. What an incredible experience from staff, to guide, ease, and comfort!
And the perfect finale was a humpback whale in full breach caught on Camera by Marie O'Shaughnessy -a passionate photographer- on board who shared precious treasures with all the passengers. A very emotional experience.
Laura was a wonderful guide. Reached out to all of us together, and independently. As did Captain Chris whilst Shawnee kept providing updates.

Fantastic Whale Watching Experience Absolutely fantastic whale watching experience. The staff were so knowledgeable and so excited when spotting animals. We got so much information about the whales and other animals we were seeing. The staff went the extra mile every step of the way. We saw humpback, minke and killer whales! Porpoises and eagles. Had a look round the islands. Really recommend this tour company. They help everyone see and point things out for you. Such a great outing. They even extended it abit as there wasn't anyone booked on the later tour. Went with a mate and now we both know what to look for to spot whales!

A FANTASTIC Day of Whale Watching with a great Team Six friends who were on the Rocky Mt train trip decided a half day whale watching was on our must do trip! Our train car server,Randy recommended this company. Boy, we were so glad he did!!

The boat holds 72, we were fortunate there were only 20 passengers on our morning trip.

Our staff was Capt Erin, Craig and Tom. They were just as amazed as we were how close the Hump back whales, a pod of 3 came close to the boat then one came especially close. We saw 2 whales breaching and another set were slapping the water with their find.

Both naturalists were taking pictures so they could help record which whales were out and about, reporting back to a Whale research team.

I have great videos but I can't load on this review.

Delicious hot chocolate served, coffee and tea. Snacks available for purchase. Cash only.

Put this on your must do while in Vancouver. Great gift shop as well. I got a white Prince of Whales windbreaker as a souvenir.

Plan to have lunch on Granville Island when you return. The market place has great options.

Unforgettable experience with incredible, attentive staff I elected to go on the half day tour with Prince of Whales in early July 2019 and let me say, it was an adventure I will never forget. The crew on board for that day were Aaron, Wilma, Selena and Aurdra - and they were nothing short of amazing. The captain was especially incredible to have decided to take us to see an island of seals first, as to extend our whale watching time - a pod of 4 beautiful Orcas we were able to observe for an hour! On the top deck, Wilma was a fountain of knowledge, not only of whales, but other local wildlife. She volunteered information about the surrounding islands, local customs, indigenous culture and so much more! This was an unforgettable experience that I have thoroughly enjoyed, and possibly may be the best excursion I have ever been on.

Wonderful trip - Great crew Can’t say enough about the crew. Lili and Valerie were friendly, accommodating, and above all very knowledgeable and informative. Joe and Bill did a great job navigating the trip. We saw great whales and they gave us great information on the area and the Orcas. Thanks!!

Absolutely amazing trip with really knowledgeable guides We were a group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids). The trip was perfect. We saw humpbacks, orcas, sealions and bald eagles. The guides were so friendly, knowledgeable and patient, responding to the kids incessant questions!
We highly recommend this trip, it was worth every penny.

Great afternoon on the water with the wildlife Excellent boat and crew. Lucked out and spent our maximum allowed time with three hump back whales (2 adults and a calf), before returning to the city via creeks and inlets to see seals and a couple of bald eagles. Great memories!

Whale watching Our trip was an unforgettable experience, and in so many ways because of the crew onboard. The naturalists Vanessa and Aurora were passionate and knowledgeable and when I asked them for ideas to improve my trip with my tired 4 year old, they saved the day! Smiles all around!!

Fantastic Experience Wow, what a morning! Albeit a very windswept one!

I was originally booked onto the sunset whale watching trip but due to the weather forecast had to change to the morning trip instead. Austen was our captain, and a great one at that, speeding across the water to where he;d heard there were some orca. And there they were - a pod of around 7/8 of tthem hunting and feeding, and putting on a greeat display for us!

It was amazing to seethese graceful beautiful creatures doing what they do best, without a care for us and to see the majority of boats respect them and keeping their distance (although some of the private boats were not so well behaved!) This is wherer whales beolng and should be seen, not in aquariums.

As well as the whales (which were obviously the highlight!) Austen was great at talking about other points of interest on the trip too.

The whole PoW team of staff were all great and helplful in every way, so would recommend them for any of their tours. Thanks guys!
