Great excursion Our family of four had a great time with Prince of Whales. All the staff on board the vessel were excellent, especially Sandy who took a lot of time to provide information and facts about whales and marine life in general. It is obvious all of the crew are passionate about whales, the sea, and the environment. The captain did everything he could to maximize our view of the group of whales we located. Everything was very organized. All in all, a memorable experience, highly recommended.

Half Day Whale Watching Outstanding! Saw a couple of pods of Killer Whales in Howe Sound. Our naturalist guide Wilma was wonderful- knowledgeable, enthusiastic and warm! Captain did a great time finding the Orca pods. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience! My husband and I went on this tour on our last day in Vancouver. We could not have asked for a better send-off. It was absolutely gorgeous day and we saw two groups of whales. During the second group one of them popped its head up out of the water to show us its chin. I couldn't believe how close it was to the boat. We got lucky. The seals and sea lions were also showing off. The crew shared all kinds of fun facts and we were even able to identify one whale by its tail. Just a 10/10 experience.

Genuine West Coast Experience We set sail in style on the super comfy Salish Sea vessel. On our first stop alone we saw 6 different species of birds (not including the various gulls), and Naturalist Liz kept it super interesting with all of her Bald Eagle facts! From there we carried on further west where we encountered Transient Orca's and Resident Orca's within a few hundred meters of each other! What are the chances??? Captain Bill and First Mate Joe got reports of Humpback Whales and quickly set off in that direction, when we arrived they killed the engine so we could enjoy the sound of the Humpbacks breathing. Before we knew it we were literally surrounded by a dozen or more Humpbacks! It was incredibly magical. Thanks POW team!

What DIDN'T We See On the BEST Whale Watching Day! Absolutely AMAZING day on the water! It couldn't have been a better adventure! Beautiful weather, friendly passengers (thanks for sharing your blanket), multiple humpbacks, killer whales, sea lions, eagles, seals, and porpoises. We even saw a humpback whale do a full roll over (breaching)!!! Our captain, Anthony, (great sense of direction today) and guides were extremely knowledgeable (I had Ph.D. Amy and Wilma closest to me). I can't wait to come back this summer for another adventure!

All at once We were out there in Telegraph Cove on one of their Zodiaks with our guide Andy. After 15 min we spotted the first group of orcas, which came very close to our boat. We had plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the moment. We moved on to the another spot where we could enjoy a group of humpack whales.
Our guide gave us very interesting background information on the whales and the local area. On the side we also spotted seals and eagles.
An awesome trip with an awesome guide!

Whale watching at its best I enjoyed the trip to see the whales and also Victoria thoroughly. The skipper made such an effort to let us see the whales and we saw two humpback whales in our way to Victoria and three orcas on our way back. We also had the opportunity to stay one night in Victoria.

First Rate Experience! After a “whaleless”first trip, we took advantage of the offer to go out on another one and had a great (and most successful) time - thanks very much to our friendly and helpful pilot/guide, Rush.
