Fantastic Experience Wow, what a morning! Albeit a very windswept one!

I was originally booked onto the sunset whale watching trip but due to the weather forecast had to change to the morning trip instead. Austen was our captain, and a great one at that, speeding across the water to where he;d heard there were some orca. And there they were - a pod of around 7/8 of tthem hunting and feeding, and putting on a greeat display for us!

It was amazing to seethese graceful beautiful creatures doing what they do best, without a care for us and to see the majority of boats respect them and keeping their distance (although some of the private boats were not so well behaved!) This is wherer whales beolng and should be seen, not in aquariums.

As well as the whales (which were obviously the highlight!) Austen was great at talking about other points of interest on the trip too.

The whole PoW team of staff were all great and helplful in every way, so would recommend them for any of their tours. Thanks guys!

Excellent Tour We saw a group of 4 humpback whales. Our Tour guide was a blonde(can’t remember her name) she was very informative and you could really tell she loved her job. She knew the names of the Whales and pulled out a catalogue to share. Amazing trip and I would recommend this to anyone.

OMG! This was AWESOME!!! First of all JEN was very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area and was very engaging with the group! Captain Ian was also just great about knowing where to go and also very cautious about not disturbing the whales, seals, sea lions and eagles that we saw on the trip.

We saw so many HUMPBACK WHALES!!! Watching them breach and fluke slap was one of the most unique experiences I've ever had! It was an amazing display!

I highly recommend this tour! It was a bucket list item for me, and this crew made it SO VERY MEMORABLE!!!

THANKS Everyone!!! I will be back and bring the family!!!

Dream come true experience!! Dream come true for me today to see whales with this wonderful crew ! They were so knowledgeable and kind and friendly . Lily, Jennifer and Maia , Bill and Joe as captain and mate . We saw orca whales showing a bunch of behaviours and learned about them all . Felt safe the whole time ( boat wise and covid wise ). The gentleman that greeted us and talked to us before the whole adventure even began was also awesome ! Everyone was soooo nice! Truly a great experience I will never forget !

Whale of a day My wife and I chose this trip because it included whale watching with a trip to Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. On the trip over we saw a couple of humpback whales and some sea lions, a little disappointing, who wouldn’t want to see more.
At Victoria, several different times were available for the bus to Butchart Gardens, we chose the 2:00 time. Once at the gardens, we came to the realization our time would not do the gardens justice, they are absolutely gorgeous! (No slam on the tour, I had no idea how much time should be spent at the gardens to truly appreciate them) We saw as much as we could considering our time constraints.
On they way back our boats crew located a pod of Orcas, we saw more than a dozen! We were able to stay near them for about 10 to 15 minutes and saw what our guides/naturalists said was a newborn. Seeing this many Orcas at one time was something I never thought I would have the opportunity to experience.
If I am ever in Vancouver again, I would not hesitate to to take a whale watching trip with the Prince of Whales.

We all enjoyed the day going to Vancouver Island The whale watching trip out of Vancouver was fun and the folks on the boat were great. They engaged with everyone on board. We saw some Orcas and the views were lovely. Victoria is beautiful and Butchard Gardens a delight. High tea in the restaurant was delicious. It was perfect being able to leave from Butchart cove.

Amazing! Do not miss this trip. We were unusually lucky in that we had a female humpback whale take an interest in our boat, hence these photos that were taken with my iPhone! The long telephoto lense on my “proper” camera was virtually useless 😂 We also saw two pods of Orca meet and play, with youngsters too. It was an unforgettable experience. The crew knew where to find the animals and were so informative (and friendly). The Orca were about 200m away, which is the safe/required distance but when the Humpback came to investigate us the engines were switched off and we waited until she got bored! We saw Bald Eagles and seals too. We covered 92 nautical miles and were out for nearly 5 hours, The boat has simple refreshments and 2 heads, so is fine to be on for so long and absolutely worth it!! I know we were particularly lucky, but talking to locals it seems these guys have a fantastic hit rate, so you are almost certain to see whales. Part of your ticket price and refreshments cost go to support marine conservation. Highly recommended
