The quintessential whale watching experience for every adventurer.

Did you know? Bald eagles mate for life, like wolves (we have those, too!)

What To Bring

It gets cold out on the water (trust us!), so we recommend windbreaker jackets, sweaters, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. It’s also a good idea to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a tight-fitting hat, a camera to capture some memorable moments and, above all, your sense of adventure!

Onboard snacks are available for purchase with CAD cash only (no credit/debit cards accepted) but please feel free to bring your own snacks if you wish.

Great experience! Had fun today with Roman, Sharon, and Vanessa. Great crew who work together to make for a fantastic day. Orcas, eagles, and humpbacks were on the list of sightings. Good way to take in the Telegraph Cove area.

Great experience Maybe we were lucky but we saw Orcas, Humpbacks, sea lions, porpoises and sea eagles. Guides were I formative and genuinely loved doing what they do, great to see them as excited as we all were to see these magnificent creatures.

Fantastic! Today we went on a zodiac with our skipper, Rush. It was really amazing. We saw a big group of humpback whales. Later we saw three killer whales, one was grey (albino whale) They were hunting a dolphin and they got him. Really crazy to see from so nearby. Rush gave us a lot of information and was a great skipper! The weather was great and the boat ride was really fantastic!

Great Whale Watching Trip, Super-friendly Crew! Starting from beautiful Telegraph Cove, I participated in a whale watching tour. We took our boat through the areas where they expected to find certain whales. We got lucky to get approached by a few Doll's Purpose. Later, we saw a few humpback whales and even a family of orcas! To finish it all off, we saw a sea otter swimming close by. It was such a great experience! Much more than I expected.

The crew was well informed and could always provide relevant information to what we saw out on the waters. It was pretty cool how the captain was able to spot and approach wildlife, just by sight, with minimum disturbance of the animals. Shoutout to Rebecca for answering all my questions, it was so interesting to learn so much about whales! Would do again if I had the chance too.

Half day whale watch tour This tour far exceeded my expectations. I was hoping to catch a glimpse of some whales, but about an hour in we came upon a small pod and got to watch them for about an hour. Our guide stayed on the upper deck with us and explained the behaviors they were exhibiting. She was extremely knowledgeable and familiar with this particular group of whales. We also saw sea lions and a bald eagle. There was an enclosed cabin in case of inclement weather which looked warm and inviting.

Exciting and Educational! This was one of our best days out in Victoria! We chose the morning whale watching trip and we were thoroughly treated to a few pods of whales feeding in the bay. Once we reached a point far from the shore, we started spotting whale activity and we were entertained for the next hour! Pods of whales were feeding, diving and surfacing in the general area so the captain was able to direct the catamaran as close as possible while still being safe for the whales, making sure we didn't disturb them during their feeding. This was mid-August, so it was the height of their feeding season. We were delighted! We also were treated to a view of loads of seals resting or playing on a nearby island. It was a magical day for all of our family and it was some of the best spent hours of our lives!

Perfect trip The morning spent with Roman, Sharon & Andy was perfect. We saw 2 humpbacks, a rock full of sea lions, seals & an amazing find of over 50 bald eagles all together in the trees & rocks on a tiny island. Even our guides said they had never seen so many in one place this season. They all three did an amazing job. Sharon was our guide on the top deck. She was extremely knowledgeable and her enthusiasm was contagious. It was easy to see that she loved what she was doing. Thank you.
