Pre-Tour: Check-In & Orientation
Your journey begins at our conveniently located docks in Victoria, Vancouver, or Telegraph Cove. Guests are asked to check in 30 minutes before departure to ensure a smooth start. Our friendly crew will greet you, confirm waivers, and provide a short orientation. Depending on your tour, you’ll either board one of our covered vessels for comfort and views or a high-speed Zodiac RHIB for an exhilarating ride on the open water.
No matter the boat, safety is our top priority. Safety briefings and crew support are all included, along with a dose of excitement.
On the Water: Cruising the Salish Sea
Once you’re underway, the real adventure begins. Our routes are not fixed; we go where the wildlife is. Using real-time reports from spotters and other vessels, our captains adjust course to give you the best chance of seeing whales and other marine creatures. Expect to cover at least 30+ nautical miles during your tour.
During your cruise, our onboard naturalists will guide you through everything you’re seeing. From Bigg’s (transient) killer whales to humpback whales, eagles, sea lions and other amazing wildlife, there’s always something to marvel at. You may also get the chance to hear whale vocalizations through our onboard hydrophones, a truly unforgettable experience.
